Colin had his first birthday cake. Actually, it was the first time he had ever tried cake or any sweets for that matter. Lyn made the cake and frosting from scratch. He seemed to like the chocolate frosting and thought the cake was so-so. We took him outside to the patio so we could hose things off when he was all done. We were expecting him to be a lot messier than he was. Colin was more intrigued by the cats than he was by the cake. Mama and Dada probably ate more of Colin's cake than he did. In the end, he was ready to be done with it.

Wow! I can't believe he's 1! And what an adorable birthday boy he is....looks like fun for all. Very timely of him to start walking then too.
